L\u2019educazione del cane da parte dei proprietari spesso comincia proprio da questi comandi, considerati la base per ottenere l\u2019attenzione del proprio amico. Vediamo insieme come insegnare al cane i comandi \u201cseduto\u201d e \u201cterra\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A cosa servono<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Se il comando \u201cseduto\u201d \u00e8 considerato uno dei pi\u00f9 importanti, un motivo sicuramente ci sar\u00e0.<\/p>\n

\u00c8 solo quando il cane si siede su nostra richiesta, infatti, che possiamo essere certi di avere tutta la sua attenzione<\/strong>. Quando un cane \u00e8 troppo esuberante, si sta scatenando nel gioco o \u00e8 troppo distratto dall\u2019ambiente circostante, la prima cosa che dobbiamo fare per ridimensionare le sue energie o le sue ansie<\/strong> \u00e8 proprio quella di chiedergli di stare seduto.<\/p>\n

Solo una volta che il cane avr\u00e0 imparato a sedersi ogni volta che glielo chiediamo, sar\u00e0 possibile procedere con l\u2019insegnamento di tutti gli altri comandi.<\/p>\n

Per quanto riguarda il comando \u201cterra\u201d<\/strong>, invece, si tratta pi\u00f9 che altro di una variante opzionale, non necessaria per il cane, ma che pu\u00f2 risultare indispensabile per insegnargli un altro comando, il \u201crotola\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Il comando \u201cseduto\u201d<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Questo comando andrebbe insegnato a tutti i cani, sia da cuccioli che da adulti.<\/p>\n

Per riuscirci, \u00e8 necessario applicare il principio del rinforzo positivo<\/strong>. Quando il cane fa qualcosa che gli chiediamo o si comporta bene, dobbiamo premiarlo con complimenti, coccole o snack.<\/p>\n

Al contrario, punendolo se non ci ascolta o se fa qualcosa di inappropriato, susciteremo nel cane delle emozioni negative, senza mostrargli invece cosa cerchiamo da lui.<\/p>\n

Per riuscire ad insegnare al cane il comando \u201cseduto\u201d, dobbiamo procurarci degli snack o dei biscottini<\/strong> per cani, specifici per l\u2019addestramento. Sono meno calorici e pi\u00f9 appetibili rispetto alle normali crocchette, per cui il cane sar\u00e0 particolarmente stimolato ad ascoltarci pur di ottenere lo snack.<\/p>\n

In alternativa, possiamo anche utilizzare un gioco, magari uno dei suoi preferiti, anche se per i cuccioli o per le prime fasi dell\u2019addestramento potrebbe non essere altrettanto stimolante quanto il cibo.<\/p>\n

Vediamo quali sono i passaggi<\/strong> per insegnare al cane il comando \u201cseduto\u201d:\"cane<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. \n

    Posizioniamoci in un posto isolato<\/strong>, ad esempio in una stanza della nostra casa lontana dai rumori e da altre persone, almeno per il primo periodo. Cerchiamo di attirare l\u2019attenzione<\/strong> del nostro cane facendogli capire che abbiamo uno snack per lui;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    Mettiamo lo snack davanti al muso del cane, spostandolo lentamente in alto e verso la sua nuca.<\/strong> Il cane cercher\u00e0 di seguire il movimento della nostra mano, portando la testa all\u2019indietro e di conseguenza si metter\u00e0 seduto per non perdere l\u2019equilibrio;\"cane<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. Una volta che il suo sedere poggia sul pavimento, concediamogli lo snack;<\/strong><\/li>\n
  4. \n

     <\/p>\n

    Ripetiamo finch\u00e9 non riuscir\u00e0 a sedersi correttamente<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Ripetiamo diverse volte lo stesso procedimento. Per le prime volte pu\u00f2 essere sufficiente anche premiare il cane se si siede per pochi istanti. Non possiamo pretendere gi\u00e0 da subito che resti fermo come una statua, soprattutto se si tratta di un cucciolo.<\/p>\n

    A questo punto possiamo introdurre il comando vocale \u201cseduto<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n

    Ogni volta che posizioniamo la mano davanti al suo muso, diciamo in modo chiaro la parola \u201cseduto\u201d, e ripetiamo il movimento della mano al di sopra della testa del cane, premiandolo quando si siede.<\/p>\n

    Solo una volta che avr\u00e0 associato il comando vocale all\u2019azione di sedersi, potremo iniziare a fare dei tentativi senza snack<\/strong>. Il procedimento \u00e8 sempre lo stesso, solo che invece del cibo, dovremo utilizzare i complimenti per premiarlo. Diciamogli un bel \u201cbravo!\u201d<\/strong> ogni volta che esegue il comando.<\/p>\n

    Un consiglio importante \u00e8 quello di non rinforzare positivamente delle azioni che vanno al di fuori del sedersi. Non siate permissivi<\/strong>. Se il cane dovesse sollevarsi su due zampe o dovesse aggrapparsi alla vostra mano pur di ottenere lo snack, allontanate immediatamente la mano, rimettevi bene in piedi, quindi ricominciate una volta che si sar\u00e0 calmato.<\/p>\n

    Il comando \u201cterra\u201d<\/strong><\/h1>\n

    Questo comando non \u00e8 indispensabile, ma pu\u00f2 servire per iniziare ad imparare il comando \u201crotola\u201d.<\/p>\n

    Si parte sempre dal comando \u201cseduto\u201d.<\/strong> Una volta che il cane sar\u00e0 seduto composto e avrete la sua piena attenzione, potrete procedere:\"cane<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. \n

      Tenete uno snack tra pollice e indice.<\/strong> Mostrate al cane quale sar\u00e0 la sua ricompensa avvicinandolo al suo muso;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    2. \n

      Lentamente, fate scendere la mano piano piano verso il basso;\"cane<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    3. Continuate a far scendere la mano con lo snack fino a raggiungere il pavimento, quindi avvicinatelo al vostro corpo;<\/li>\n
    4. \n

      Il cane dovrebbe stendersi<\/strong> per raggiungere lo snack.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Questo procedimento non \u00e8 mai semplice, perch\u00e9 il cane tender\u00e0 nella maggior parte dei casi a rimettersi in piedi e ad avanzare con tutto il corpo per raggiungere il suo premio.<\/p>\n

      Per questo, ogni volta che non resta seduto, dovrete ricominciare dal comando \u201cseduto\u201d, premiandolo solo nel momento in cui si stender\u00e0<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

      Proseguite quindi con il comando vocale<\/strong>. Quando mostrate al cane lo snack, dite \u201cterra\u201d e procedete con il movimento della mano verso il basso e poi verso di voi.<\/p>\n

      Quando il cane avr\u00e0 ben chiaro questo passaggio, potrete provarci senza utilizzare uno snack come ricompensa, ma complimentandovi con lui se ci \u00e8 riuscito.<\/p>\n

      Per agevolare il riconoscimento del comando vocale, cercate di utilizzare un gesto semplice<\/strong> da comprendere. Ad esempio, potreste tenere la vostra mano aperta, parallela al pavimento<\/strong>, spostandola verso il basso mentre dite \u201cterra\u201d.<\/p>\n

      Oppure, potreste indicare il pavimento<\/strong> con il vostro indice.<\/p>\n

      Vi serviranno diversi tentativi prima che il cane inizi davvero a stendersi, ma quello che vi occorre \u00e8 una buona dose di pazienza e diverse confezioni di snack.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
