Vediamo cos\u2019\u00e8 e come si cura.<\/p>\n<p>La sindrome da canile \u00e8 anche definita come <strong>sindrome da privazione sensoriale<\/strong> o <strong>Kennel Syndrome<\/strong> nei Paesi anglosassoni. Si tratta di un disturbo comportamentale tipico dei cani cresciuti nei canili, ma non solo, senza alcuna possibilit\u00e0 di avere scambi e interazioni con l\u2019ambiente esterno.<\/p>\n<h1><strong>Le cause<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>Il nome di questa sindrome molto particolare \u00e8 dovuto al fatto che una grande percentuale di animali affetti \u00e8 cresciuta proprio nei canili.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In ogni caso il luogo di provenienza del cane non \u00e8 strettamente correlato alla comparsa della sindrome da privazione sensoriale. Piuttosto ci possono essere delle <strong>condizioni predisponenti<\/strong>, alle quali il cane sia stato esposto nei primi mesi di vita, tra cui:<img decoding=\"async\" class=\" alignright size-full wp-image-2185\" src=\"https:\/\/wordpress.socialdogcat.spregamore.ddnsfree.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/cane_si_nasconde-717.jpg\" alt=\"cane si nasconde\" style=\"margin: 15px; float: right;\" width=\"450\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wordpress.socialdogcat.spregamore.ddnsfree.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/cane_si_nasconde-717.jpg 450w, https:\/\/wordpress.socialdogcat.spregamore.ddnsfree.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/cane_si_nasconde-717-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Crescita in<strong> allevamenti, recinti, canili<\/strong>;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Crescita in un<strong> luogo isolato<\/strong> dal centro cittadino, tra cui campagne e capannoni;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Nessun contatto diretto con l\u2019uomo<\/strong>;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Contatto esclusivo con una stessa persona<\/strong> o un gruppo ristretto di uomini e donne;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Contatto con una sola persona di sesso maschile o femminile<\/strong>;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Nessun contatto con altri animali.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In tutti questi casi si parla di privazione sensoriale proprio in riferimento al fatto che i cani cresciuti in queste condizioni <strong>non sono stati esposti a stimoli adeguati<\/strong> e sufficienti per favorirne uno sviluppo comportamentale a tutto tondo.<\/p>\n<p>Sin dai primi mesi di vita, infatti, il cucciolo ha bisogno di scoprire ed interagire con le persone e l\u2019ambiente che lo circonda. \u00c8 molto importante soprattutto che abbia la possibilit\u00e0 di apprendere dalla propria madre le prime nozioni comportamentali.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In seguito deve riuscire a <strong>capire come ci si relaziona con i propri simili<\/strong>, in particolare giocando con i propri fratelli e gli altri cuccioli. Dal secondo mese di vita in poi il cucciolo ha bisogno di relazionarsi anche con l\u2019uomo e con tutto quello che lo circonda, esplorando, giocando e facendo le proprie esperienze.<\/p>\n<p>Solo in questo modo un cucciolo potr\u00e0 completare la propria esperienza di socializzazione, oltre a sviluppare tutti i sensi in modo adeguato, costruendo le basi per diventare un cane equilibrato, socievole e sicuro di s\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Se si verificano degli \u201cintoppi\u201d in questo delicato processo, diventer\u00e0 invece con molte probabilit\u00e0 un <strong>cane insicuro, spaventato, poco socievole<\/strong> e tendente a disturbi come l\u2019ansia e la <a href=\"\/?p=2214\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">depressione<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h1><strong>I sintomi<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>Gli atteggiamenti tipici del cane con la sindrome da canile possono includere:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Mangia solo di notte<\/strong>, quando tutti dormono;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Durante la passeggiata <strong>si rifiuta di camminare<\/strong>;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Si rifiuta di uscire di casa<\/strong>;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Si nasconde<\/strong> se vede alcune categorie di persone, ad esempio uomini, donne o bambini;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Dorme sotto il letto<\/strong>;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Scappa alla vista di altri animali<\/strong>;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Ha paura dei rumori<\/strong> tipici della casa, ad esempio degli elettrodomestici;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Si immobilizza o trema in alcune situazioni<\/strong>, ad esempio dal veterinario o durante il lavaggio;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Diventa <strong>aggressivo con gli altri animali o con le persone<\/strong>;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Non trattiene i \u201cbisogni\u201d<\/strong> nelle situazioni che lo spaventano.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Questi sono tutti aspetti legati alla sfera dell\u2019ansia e della paura, ma alcuni cani possono manifestare anche dei <strong>sintomi tipicamente depressivi<\/strong>, che solitamente compaiono nelle ultime fasi della sindrome da canile. Ad esempio, pu\u00f2 mordersi una parte del proprio corpo ogni volta che il livello di ansia sale o pu\u00f2 leccarsi il pelo fino a strapparlo.<\/p>\n<p>Purtroppo la sindrome da canile non viene sempre presa in considerazione da proprietari e medici veterinari, ma si tratta di un problema abbastanza frequente, che va assolutamente trattato.<\/p>\n<p>Come per molte altre condizioni, prima si interviene, meglio \u00e8.
